When designing a website you want your crediblity to be key. The audience must trust you completly. If they can see your reliabilty then it will go a long way in persuading them of your opinion. Some benefits is that you can use pictures, videos, any type of media rather than just plain old words to persuade them. Some challenges are knowing what will work. Words will always work. An article or newsletter will always work. With a website you have more variables. Color, font, even size of images. You have to put more thought into everything rather than just saying what you mean. The good thing is, if done right, the gains are greater.

The main reason, in my opinion, is to get people to think how you think on a specific subject. In other words, to allow people to understand where you're coming from.

You would want to get the audience to see things on your level to go further and explore your page. The challenges in the design is how to make it so that the readers are compelled to click on your page more. I think the benefits of writing a argument on a webpage is that you can use pictures in your defense.

i think an important element is to use the 'appeal to senses" strategy and hopefully individuals will be wowed by the site...wanting to navigate and experience more of the site. challenges, the overall look of the web page and how the elements are incorporated. benefits are...well not having to write as much? and being able to use visuals and artistry of the designer.

I designed a website, where I wanted people to buy my photos. Using rhetorical strategies helps me to target my audience and convince them to buy my photos. The benefits of using an argument in my website is hopefully more people will buy photos.

To put it simple music on the website has to be geared towards the demographic. When a site is loaded and the music pops up, if it appeals to that demographic they are going to react positively to it and continue looking on the sie.

When creating a website you can use rhetoric strategies to get the viewer to understand your view and get further interested.

Chances are if you have a web page, you have a purpose behind it. What ever that purpose is, you want people to view it and go to certain areas of content to achieve that purpose. Web page design can be augmented intensely by using rhetorical strategies when approached like a paper. You will have an introduction usually, the content or an argument and then the conclusion, which if you have done correctly will get the surfer to where you want them to be. It is also important, especially when starting out in web design to look at web pages that have a similar propose or content to see what works and what does not.

I believe, if you give a full description of what is it you are trying to get across and then show examples(pictures, pros and cons, success stories) then you can easily reel the person in, and make them interested in what it is you are trying to show. (sry for the run on)

When creating a webpage the layout and color play a major role in how we view a webpage....if the color is unappealling most viewers will click the x botton an go to the next page. The best way to get your message is to be short and to the point

Just like when your writing papers, the key on a website that you make is for the audience to see credibility in your work. You need to achieve that goal or else I think your site would be worthless.
