When designing your digital portfolio you can use the methods in class in a way that you correctly design the structure to make the viewer not click off your site but to go deeper and deeper into your site finding more vital information that could just completely grab them and want to hire you before you even come in for an interview.
When constructing a digital portfolio you can use the rhetorical methods by determining what the reason behind making the page is and then who its target audience is. Once you have established this you would determine how best to reach that audience to motivate them to do or click or call.
When I designed my digital portfolio, I thought about what a prospective employer might want. Then i thought of way to present it to them that would be compelling. It would make them want to hire me. This was my way of creating a argument for them to hire me.
The best thing about doing this is that everything is a click away and your eye has to be able to move through each page. This page is good for a future employer or if someone just wants to know alittle about you.Layoout is a key in this assignment.
First, you decide what you want to do ,then you rough draft it, and then proceed to design the digital portfolio. It is no different than writing a paper.
when constructing a digital portfolio, a great idea is to find out who the target audience is, in this case a potential emplyer. i guess just think how they think. what they want to see, hear, or read. do research on employers. try to be simplistic and straightforward.
We can use the things we have learned about, such as language communities, to help us figure out how we want to present our portfolio. We can then use the skills we have learned with making videos that target our audience well.
when you think about the colors you use in your portfolio to draw the employers to your portfolio and the way you present yourself in your video is all apart of digital rhetoric. It is imparative to take all of these factors and other into account when creating media for others to watch.
The Ethos will definintly be a part of the digital portfolio. You want the audience to believe that you are credible. Logos will also be considered because you want the portfolio to make sense. It has to appeal to the audience as being truthful.

You use such methods by looking who the target audience would be and then making it appeal to them by whichever means you go about doing so.
